The work between strategy and shipped.
Built for founders and CMOs of growing businesses — the people accountable for the whole story, not just one channel. Four ways in, always building the same thing: a presence that holds together.
Lobos is a brand and web design studio in Sydney, working Australia-wide. We help founders and CMOs of growing businesses get their story straight across offer architecture, messaging and design systems, customer flow design, and templates and training. One system, many expressions: strategy, brand, website and every flow in between.
Offer Architecture
For founders whose business grew faster than its menu — and CMOs handed growth targets without a clear thing to sell.
Full page →“You’re scaling campaigns and content, but it’s hard to see how everything ladders up to a clear offer.”
“Your product matured faster than your messaging, so new markets can’t quickly grasp where you fit.”
We organise your products, packages and services into a clear offer lineup that sales, marketing and finance can all sell from. Positioning, naming, pricing architecture and the one-line answers to "what do you actually do?" — agreed once, used everywhere.
Messaging & Design Systems
For teams where every deck, one-pager and Canva kit looks slightly different — and leadership sees three versions of the story.
Full page →“Sales, CS and marketing all tweak the story for their needs, so no two audiences hear the same company.”
“You’ve invested in brand, but teams still aren’t aligned on how to talk about what you do.”
We build a practical brand system — words, visuals and worked examples — so every deck, web page and ad looks and sounds like the same company. Not a PDF on the server: components, templates and rules your team actually uses.
Customer Flow Design
For businesses whose website, emails and onboarding were each built in different growth spurts — and whose customers feel the seams.
Full page →“Customers hit gaps between touchpoints, drop out mid-journey, or keep asking the same questions.”
“Campaigns drive traffic to journeys that leak — spend goes up, conversion doesn’t.”
We map your end-to-end customer journey and redesign the touchpoints that matter — website, lifecycle emails, onboarding, CRM automations — so people stop dropping out and your team stops firefighting. Connected to the tools you already run.
Templates & Training
For teams with a solid identity in Figma while day-to-day comms happen in Canva with no shared system — and for leaders tired of being the brand police.
Full page →“Every initiative spins up new landing pages, playbooks and decks with no central system.”
“Your designers are stuck doing production work instead of design work.”
We build ready-to-use templates in the tools your team lives in — Canva, Slides, Figma, your email platform — then train the team until good, on-brand work is the default, not the exception. AI speed, human craft, your people enabled.
Senior thinking, straight talk, and your team gets stronger as we go.
Engagements run through clear phases — audit and discovery, frameworks, priority flows, then enablement and handover. We work as partners with your in-house team, not around them: they’re in discovery, they help prioritise, and they inherit a system they can own. Many clients keep us on a retainer afterwards; by then their team needs us less, which is the point.
Customer-first, always
Every call gets tested against one question: what makes it clearest for your customer? Not the trend, not the award — the customer.
Systems, not one-offs
Pretty deliverables drift. We build offer lineups, brand systems and flows your team can run without us — then teach you to extend them.
AI speed // Human craft
AI lets us explore more directions, faster — Perplexity, Figma, Firefly, Runway. Human judgement decides what ships. You get both.
No fluff
Straight answers, realistic timelines, fixed prices for defined phases. If a smaller scope solves it, that’s what we’ll recommend.
Hear it from the people who hired us.
Since working with Josh over the past 8 months, we have accomplished more than I could have imagined. I asked Josh to guide me through the process of transforming my small business into a brand—not just a product on a shelf, but a brand that people are proud to be a part of, from staff to consumers. Josh took the time to understand the current state of my business and the essential building blocks, from the tech stack to the customer journey. Not only have we been working through the new strategic planning process he helped me create, but we are also thriving and deepening our brand recognition in our area, building a brand that will continue to thrive in the future. As a fast-paced business owner with numerous ideas and strong operational skills, I needed someone to help harness my drive and ideas. Josh has partnered with me to properly plan and build strategies for effective implementation.
Working with Lobos has been a game‑changer for Beanrunner. They helped us develop a clear, memorable brand, including our tagline ‘How you bean’, along with a comms strategy that actually speaks to both roasters and coffee lovers. The sales collateral they created has made it much easier to explain our value and bring new coffee roasters onto the marketplace with confidence, instead of reinventing the pitch every time.
The questions every buyer has.
What does a brand and website project cost in Australia?
Lobos core builds run from low five figures, a $10k AUD minimum, up to six figures for complex, multi-flow engagements, always structured as fixed-price phases. The entry point is the Review: a small fee, credited toward your engagement, for 60–90 minutes of senior eyes across your brand and website. We’ve broken the numbers down properly in our rebrand cost guide.
Read the cost guide →How long does a project take?
Most core projects run 8–12 weeks through fixed phases: audit and discovery, frameworks, priority flows, then enablement and handover. Complex website builds run longer, typically 6–9 months depending on scope and how many journeys are in play. Either way you get a realistic timeline up front, and we hold it.
Do you work with in-house teams?
Yes. That’s the default, not the exception. Your marketing and design people are in discovery, help prioritise, and inherit a system they can run without us. We’ve partnered with big bank teams and solo founder-marketers alike. The goal is always the same: your team gets stronger as we go, and needs us less.
Which service do I need?
Start with the Review. It exists to answer exactly that. In 60–90 minutes we go through your brand and website, find where the story frays and the journey leaks, and recommend which pillar to start with, so your first spend lands on the right problem.
Book your Review →Do you work outside Sydney?
Yes. Lobos is based in Sydney and works Australia-wide, with most engagements running remotely without losing anything. Workshops happen over video or in person, and the systems we build live in your tools regardless of postcode. Clients range from Inner West locals to national brands like Westpac and Zembl.
What is Digital Presence Design?
Digital Presence Design is our name for treating brand, website, marketing and customer experience as one system rather than separate projects. Your brand isn’t your logo and your website isn’t your business: it’s the whole ecosystem, and it only works when every part tells the same story. The four pillars are four ways into building it.
That’s exactly what the Review works out.
A senior set of eyes across your brand and website — where the story frays, where the journey leaks, and which pillar to start with. Straight answers, no pitch.
