Privacy policy.
Effective 19.07.2026
Lobos (“we”, “us”) is a digital presence design studio based in Sydney, Australia, operating this website at lobos.au. We keep data collection minimal and purposeful, and this policy explains plainly what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions any time: josh@lobos.au.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site — an enquiry, a booking request or a newsletter signup — we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
Information collected automatically. We use analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies and is not used to identify you personally. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability.
Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the correspondence and your address.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, send you things you have asked for (like the Presence newsletter — you can unsubscribe any time via the link in any email), operate and improve this website, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
The tools working behind the site
Like most modern websites, lobos.au runs on a small set of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Forms & CRM — form submissions are processed by LeadConnector (HighLevel) and stored in our client-management system so we can respond and keep track of our conversations.
- Analytics— Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics measure site usage. You can opt out via browser settings, blocking analytics cookies, or Google’s opt-out tools.
- Email — we run our mailbox on Google Workspace, and some automated email is delivered via Mailgun.
- Hosting & content— the site is hosted on Vercel; images and articles are served from Sanity’s content delivery network (no personal data involved).
- Embedded video— videos are embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which sets cookies only if you press play.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (primarily in the United States). Where that happens, we rely on providers who commit to recognised privacy and security standards.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and for embedded content, as described above. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires — enquiry and client records are kept while our relationship (or the prospect of one) is live, then removed in periodic clean-ups. Ask us and we’ll tell you what we hold about you.
Access, correction and deletion
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email josh@lobos.auand we’ll respond promptly. If you are unsatisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we’ll update this page and adjust the effective date above. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
