Pillar 03 · Marketing + CX

You paid for the traffic. The seams are keeping the money.

We walk your customer journey end to end, from website and emails through onboarding and follow-up, find the seams where customers fall out, and rebuild the flows that leak. Customer journey mapping and CX design from our Sydney studio, wired into the tools you already run, for businesses across Australia.

Feeling the seams?

Journeys built in growth spurts leak where the pieces meet. Customers feel it before you measure it.

Customers hit gaps between touchpoints, drop out mid-journey, or keep asking your team the same questions the website was supposed to answer.
Campaigns drive traffic into journeys that leak. Spend goes up, conversion doesn’t, and nobody can say which seam the customers fell through.
Website, emails and onboarding were each built in a different growth spurt, by different people, with different logic, and customers feel every seam.
Leads arrive, then sit. Nobody is quite sure which follow-up is whose job, so the fastest responder is whoever happens to check the inbox.

What do you actually get?

A mapped journey, redesigned flows, and a team that knows whose job the follow-up is.

01

The journey, mapped

Your end-to-end customer journey documented as it actually runs: every touchpoint, handover and gap, from first click to renewal.

02

Leak diagnosis

Where people drop out and why: the pages, emails and handoffs bleeding the traffic you’re already paying for.

03

Priority flow redesign

The flows that matter most, redesigned: website journeys, lifecycle email sequences, onboarding and follow-up, in priority order, not all at once.

04

Website that converts

Where the site is the leak, we redesign or rebuild it, with structure, copy and design decided by the journey rather than the homepage committee.

05

Automation & CRM wiring

Follow-ups, handovers and notifications built into the tools you already run, so no lead sits waiting for a human to remember.

06

Ownership map

Every flow gets an owner and a trigger: which follow-up is whose job, answered once, in writing.

The process

How does it work?

It starts with the Review, then runs in staged phases so the highest-leak flows ship first rather than everything waiting on launch day. Your team stays in the loop and inherits the map.

01

The Review

60–90 minutes across your journey, website and funnel. You leave with the leaks named, whatever you decide next.

02

Audit & discovery

We walk the journey as a customer: sign up, enquire, buy, get onboarded. Then we map where reality diverges from what your team believes happens.

03

Flow redesign

Priority flows redesigned and rebuilt, from website and email sequences to onboarding and automations, connected to the tools you already run.

04

Enablement & handover

Your team learns the map, the owners and the tooling. Firefighting stops being the retention strategy.

Does it actually work?

Lift Inner West’s overall business grew 200%+ across three years on a journey we mapped and rebuilt end to end.

Since working with Josh over the past 8 months, we have accomplished more than I could have imagined. I asked Josh to guide me through the process of transforming my small business into a brand—not just a product on a shelf, but a brand that people are proud to be a part of, from staff to consumers. Josh took the time to understand the current state of my business and the essential building blocks, from the tech stack to the customer journey. Not only have we been working through the new strategic planning process he helped me create, but we are also thriving and deepening our brand recognition in our area, building a brand that will continue to thrive in the future. As a fast-paced business owner with numerous ideas and strong operational skills, I needed someone to help harness my drive and ideas. Josh has partnered with me to properly plan and build strategies for effective implementation.

Fair questions.

What businesses ask before starting customer journey and flow work.

What is customer journey mapping?

It’s documenting every step a customer takes with you, across ads, website, forms, emails, onboarding and support, as one connected journey, then measuring where people stall or drop out. It turns 'conversion is down' into a specific, fixable list: this page, this email, this handover.

Is this a website redesign?

Sometimes. The journey map decides. If the website is where customers leak, we redesign or rebuild it as part of the flow work. That’s how the LIFT Inner West and Semann & Slattery projects ran. If the site is fine and the leak is in email or follow-up, you don’t pay for a website you didn’t need.

Do you work with our existing CRM and email tools?

Yes. The system gets built into the stack you already run, not a new one you have to migrate to. We design the flows, then wire the automations, templates and handovers into your CRM and email platform so the journey holds without manual heroics.

How long does customer flow design take?

Most core engagements run 8–12 weeks through fixed-price phases. Where a complex website rebuild is part of the scope, allow 6–9 months end to end. We’ll stage it so priority flows ship early rather than everything waiting on launch day.

What does it cost?

It starts with the Review: a small fee, credited toward the work. Core builds run as fixed-price phases from low five figures (minimum $10k AUD) to six figures, depending on how many flows and how much website work the journey demands.

One system · four ways in

Customer Flow Design fixes how people move through your business. The other pillars fix what you sell them, how it looks and sounds, and how your team keeps it consistent.

Suspect the journey leaks?

The Review walks it end to end.

We walk your journey the way a stranger does: enquire, buy, get onboarded. Then we name the seams where customers fall out, and which flow to fix first. You pay a small fee once, and it counts toward the engagement.
